Almzoo in the Imst Outdoor Region- Fun for the whole family!
Caressing animals, learning about them from the information boards, observing them in their natural environment and climbing on boulders: It is already clear that the new Almzoo is a magnet for families. Especially the lively dwarf herd with their miniature lambs and the mountain goats with their funny leapfrog contribute to this.
Easy to reach! The new Almzoo can easily be reached via the existing network of hiking trails from the middle station of the Imst mountain railways or via the Opferstockweg. The elevations around the enclosure ensure that even very small children can be fully involved. Benches for resting and watching, as well as a cross-over over the terrain overpass with a platform provide the perfect overview of the generous and species-appropriate enclosure.
With many looking and stroking you could almost overlook the beautiful alpine landscape of the Muttekopf area all around, and the many other highlights around the Imst lifts: the easy-going hiking trails for the whole family, the Alpine Coaster (the longest Alpine roller coaster in the world) at the middle station or the Family Park at the valley station with the multi-field bungee trampoline facility. You should not miss a stop in one of the quaint cottages. Latschenhütte, Muttekopfhütte or Untermarkter Alm serve delicacies such as lard sandwiches, bacon and cheese dumplings, pork loin pancakes, apricot dumplings or homemade apple strudel. And you're fit again for the rest of the day on the mountain.
Admission is free!
